- In a pan add oil and butter on medium heat. Add cumin seeds and asafoetida. Once it starts crackling add paneer and sauté for 2 minutes. Add in the puréed tomatoes and mix well. Let it cook on low to medium heat stirring occasionally.
- Add salt to taste, sugar and paubhaji masala and mix well. Add the mashed vegetables and mix well. Let it cook on low heat for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. Turn iff the gas and transfer in a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves. Enjoy with buttered buns toasted in pan.
