  6. 2 tbsp semolina
  7. 1 tbsp ghee
  8. 1/4 cup curd
  9. 1/4 cup jaggery
  10. 1 tsp vanilla essence
  11. 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
  12. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  13. 1 pinch salt
  14. 1/4 tsp lemon juice or vinegar
  15. 2 tbsp ghee to cook paniyaram

  1. Firstly, wash and peel apple, pear and beetroot. Further, In a grinding jar add all the peels, lemon zest, banana and beetroot pieces grind them till smooth. (you may use any tender and sweet fruits or vegetables peels of your choice)
  2. Transfer the mixture in a big bowl, add in curd, vanilla essence and ghee. Whisk well for 2-3 minutes in the same direction.
  3. Further, add in wheat flour, semolina, salt, baking powder, cinnamon powder and Jaggery mix them well with a wire whisker. Make sure there is no lumps in it. Add lemon juice in the batter and give it a quick mix.
