- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
Steps to make to make Pumpkin Pancake
- For pancake - in a bowl add milk and apple cider vinegar. Mix, let it curdle within 5-10 mins. Set aside
- In a mixing bowl add pumpkin purée, curdled milk, coconut sugar and whisk well
- Add spelt flour slowly, add pumpkin spice powder, salt, baking powder, baking soda, whisk and set aside for 5 mins covered
- Pumpkin Spice powder - in a bowl add 2 Tbsp cinnamon powder, 1 tsp ginger powder, 1 tsp cloves powder, 1 tsp Allspice powder, 1 tsp nutmeg powder. Mix
- Pumpkin puree - wash the pumpkin, peel, cut into small pieces. In a wok heat 1 Tbsp oil and fry the pumpkin pieces on low flame 2-3 mins each side. Once browned, set aside to cool. Add to a blender and blend smooth. Pumpkin purée is ready to use for your various dishes. Can be refrigerated for a week in airtight container
- In a wok on medium flame grease and pour a ladle, let bubbles surface, edges should fry, for 2 mins, flip and cook. Set aside
- Complete the batch.
